Available Rooms
Brookhouse is a Victorian era building that has operated as a
guest house for generations. Each of our four bedrooms has a unique character reflecting the local history and our own travels. Every room is warm and cosy, with a little touch of luxury.
All rooms have a minimum two night booking for weekends and holiday periods.

Victoria – Special off-season rates £115/night from November 1st (£100pn for 3 night stays mid week).
Victoria is a beautiful double room, inspired by the wildflowers that adorn the village in the summer months. This is our largest room with a generous king size bed, and plenty of room for a cot if you have a little one with you. It has a spacious ensuite with a bath, loads of storage space, and a bright window seat to sit in while you enjoy the view over the beck. With her wool and velvet soft furnishings, Victoria is our most glamorous room – and we like to think she is fit for a queen.
Weekend rates include cooked breakfast. Weekdays are continental only.
Sydney – Special off-season rates £100/night from November 1st (£90pn for 3 night stays mid week).
Named after our hometown, with a nod to the seaside, Sydney is a gorgeous room that can be configured as a super king or a twin. It’s a tranquil space that gets lots of natural light and enjoys views of the beck.
This room is adjacent to Victoria and can be used for families that need the extra space. Sydney has its own, private bathroom across the hallway with a bath, and the hallway can be cordoned off to create a Family Suite if booking both rooms.

Ruth – Special off-season rates £75/night from November 1st (£60pn for 3 night stays mid week).
Ruth is our smallest room, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in comfort and luxury. Located at the back of the house, Ruth is a cosy and quiet single room. Perfect for lie-ins and watching the sheep in the back paddock. With all the amenities you’d expect in a modern guesthouse, Ruth offers an ensuite bathroom and a little bit of Scandinavian chic.

Elizabeth – Special off-season rates £115/night from November 1st (£100pn for 3 night stays mid week).
We’ve taken the colours of the landscape, the forests and moors, and brought them inside. Elizabeth is a large warm and woody double room, filled with sunlight on the corner of the house. Featuring an ensuite with walk-in shower and a trundle bed, this room can sleep 3 guests for a family-friendly staycation. Bringing a four legged friend? Elizabeth is the room to book if you’re travelling with a pooch.
